My Mafia Husband Begged Me to Come Back

My Mafia Husband Begged Me to Come Back

My mafia husband begged me to come back chapter 1

Part 1 : The Wedding That Felt Like War

The chandeliers sparkled like a thousand watchful eyes, but to me, they felt like witnesses to my doom.

I stood at the center of the grand hall, dressed in white, my hands trembling beneath layers of silk. This wasn’t the wedding I had dreamed of. There was no love here—only a contract signed in fear.

Across the aisle stood my husband.

Rayan Malik.

The most feared mafia king in the city.

His expression was unreadable, cold as steel. People whispered his name in fear, and tonight, I had become his wife.

“Smile,” he murmured as he leaned close, his voice low and dangerous. “Everyone is watching.”

“I’m not one of your deals,” I whispered back.

His lips curved slightly. “Everything in my world is a deal.”

My heart clenched. I had been forced into this marriage to save my family. My father’s debts, his mistakes—everything had led me here.

When Rayan took my hand, his grip was firm, possessive.

“You belong to me now,” he said.

And in that moment, I knew—this wasn’t the beginning of love.

It was the beginning of something far darker.

part 2: A House Full of Secrets

The Malik mansion was less of a home and more of a fortress.

Tall gates, armed guards, silent corridors—it felt like I had stepped into a prison disguised as luxury.

I followed Rayan inside, my heels echoing against marble floors. Every servant lowered their gaze as we passed.

“Your room is upstairs,” he said, not even looking at me.

“Our room?” I asked.

He stopped.

Slowly, he turned, his dark eyes locking onto mine.

“Don’t misunderstand,” he said coldly. “This marriage is for appearance. You’ll stay out of my way, and I’ll stay out of yours.”

Something in me snapped.

“Good,” I said. “I didn’t ask to be here.”

For a moment, something flickered in his eyes—anger… or something else.

“Be careful,” he warned softly. “This house has rules. And breaking them has consequences.”

I lifted my chin. “I’m not afraid of you.”

But that was a lie.

That night, as I sat alone in the massive bedroom, I realized something terrifying—

I didn’t know who my husband really was.

And worse…

I was starting to want to.

part 3: The First Betrayal

It happened sooner than I expected.

Three days into the marriage, I overheard something I wasn’t meant to hear.

I had gotten lost in the mansion’s endless hallways when I heard voices from behind a half-open door.

Rayan’s voice.

“…she doesn’t know anything,” he said.

My breath caught.

Another man laughed. “Good. The less she knows about her father’s betrayal, the better.”

My heart stopped.

Betrayal?

“What did her father actually do?” the man asked.

Rayan’s silence stretched for a moment.

Then he said something that shattered me.

“He sold her to me.”

The world tilted.

My father… sold me?

I stepped back, my hands shaking violently.

Suddenly, the door opened.

Rayan stood there.

His eyes darkened when he saw me.

“How much did you hear?” he asked.

I swallowed, tears burning my eyes.

“Enough.”

For the first time, I saw something crack in his cold expression.

But it wasn’t regret.

It was something far more dangerous.

And in that moment, I realized—

I wasn’t just trapped in a marriage.

I was trapped in a web of lies.
