⏳ BEFORE THE ACCIDENT
Erwin laughed loudly: “Hahaha — good to finally hear you laugh, bro! Everything will turn out fine, don’t worry.”
“I know… thank you. Don’t worry either — I’ll be okay,” Zie answered softly, a small smile finally showing, feeling lighter at last.
He breathed out deep and long, the heavy feeling slowly fading…

Then—
SCREECHHH!!! BAAANG!!!
(Tires screaming, metal crushing, glass shattering—one deafening, brutal crash.)
“BRO! ZIE! FUCK—!” Erwin screamed in panic.

📍 BACK TO PRESENT • HOSPITAL
“Ah… my head hurts so bad…” Zie whispered weakly, eyes fluttering open slowly.
✦ POV: ZIE
Everything feels blurry and strange…
Where… am I? Who… am I? I have to get out of here…
What place is this anyway? Everything looks so bright, so clean, unfamiliar… smooth white walls, shiny floors, long endless hallways… nothing makes sense in my head anymore. I can’t remember anything — no name, no faces, no story… it’s all just blank.
It feels weird… almost unreal… cool-looking, but scary too. I just want to find my way out…
(He gazes around in confusion — mind empty, memories completely gone, lost inside this tall, unknown building.)
🚪 OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL
As soon as Zie stepped out of the hospital gates, he noticed an elderly man about to cross the busy street.
Suddenly, a car rushed toward him at full speed!
Without a moment’s hesitation, Zie dashed forward and pulled the old man sharply aside.
They both tumbled onto the pavement, safe but shaken by the near-miss.
Zie quickly tried to rise and help the old man to his feet—
but before he could reach out, the old man’s bodyguard blocked his path firmly.
“Don’t move!” the guard barked, his tone cold and suspicious, glaring at Zie as if he were a threat.
The old man’s expression turned stern instantly. He turned to the guard and reprimanded him sharply:
“Enough! How dare you speak to him that way? He just saved my life! Step back—at once!”
The guard flinched, bowed his head in shame, and retreated silently.
The old man then turned back to Zie, his face softening with deep concern.
“My child… are you hurt?”
Zie brushed the dust from his clothes and offered a faint, gentle smile, calm and without resentment.
“I am quite well, Grandfather. Are you unharmed?”
The old man nodded gratefully, his eyes shining with kindness. “I am, thanks entirely to you.” He paused, then asked gently:
“Do you know where your home is? Or where your family can be found?”
Zie’s smile slowly faded, replaced by a look of quiet confusion and sorrow.
“I am truly sorry, Grandfather… but I do not. I cannot remember who I am, where I live… or even who my parents are.”
Moved by his gentle nature and helplessness, the old man reached out and patted Zie’s hand warmly.
“Then come and live with me. You may stay in my home from this day onward.”
A soft, hopeful smile touched his lips as he added:
“I have one grandson who lives with me. I truly hope that the two of you will meet and get along well—may you become dear companions to one another.”
