For the next few hours, Helena trained me without mercy.

By the end of the session, every muscle in my body ached. I felt completely exhausted.

When training finally ended, the sun had already set, and I began walking home.

As I made my way through the streets, I noticed an elderly woman being robbed.

Without thinking, I dropped my bag and ran toward the thief.

Lisa: "Hey! Stop right there!"

The thief glanced at me before running into a narrow alley.

I chased after him, but the alley was a dead end.

Just as he bent down to grab the old woman's purse, I picked up a loose brick from the ground and threw it at his hand.

The brick struck its target.

The thief cried out in pain and dropped the purse.

I immediately rushed forward to grab the bag.

But before I could escape...

The thief pulled out a gun and pointed it directly at me.

For a split second, my mind went completely blank.I froze.

Just as I thought the thief was about to shoot me, I heard a voice shout,

"Police! Drop your weapon!"

To my surprise, the elderly woman was actually an undercover police officer.

The thief quickly grabbed me and used me as a human shield to help him escape.

He pointed the gun at my head.

Thief: "Back off, or I'll shoot her!"

The police officers hesitated for a moment, giving the thief the chance to shove me aside and run.

The officers immediately chased after him while the elderly woman rushed over to me.

She gently took the stolen bag from my hand.

Old Woman: "Oh dear, don't worry about the bag. We need to get you to the hospital."

Lisa: "No, I'm completely fine."

Old Woman: "Nonsense. You're coming with me."

She insisted, and eventually I gave in.

After the doctor examined me, I was discharged later that evening.

The elderly woman smiled warmly.

Old Woman: "It's getting late. Why don't you spend the night at my house? My grandson won't be home until tomorrow."

Since it was already dark and I didn't want to walk home alone, I agreed.

As we drove, we eventually arrived at what looked like a large old mansion.

I stared at it in surprise.

"This is her house?" I wondered.

We went inside.

The mansion was beautiful, with elegant furniture, a cozy fireplace, and expensive decorations.

The old woman led me upstairs.

The first bedroom she showed me was old, dusty, and clearly hadn't been used in years.

I looked around awkwardly.

Lisa: (Thinking) "Um... is there another room?"

The old woman laughed.

Old Woman: "Of course! Come with me."

She led me to a much larger and cleaner bedroom.

Old Woman: "You can sleep here tonight."

Lisa: "Thank you very much."

After wishing me good night, she left the room.

A few hours later...

I was asleep when I heard a strange noise.

Slowly opening my eyes, I noticed that the bedroom window was wide open.

A cold breeze drifted into the room.

My heart started racing.

"Someone's here..."

I carefully got out of bed and looked around, but I couldn't see anyone.

Just as I relaxed...

Someone suddenly grabbed me from behind.

Before I could scream, a hand covered my mouth.

The mysterious person dragged me onto the balcony.

I struggled desperately, trying to break free.

Then, under the moonlight, I finally saw the person's face.

It was...
