I Struggled against his grip.
Lisa: "What are you doing?! Let me go!"
The boy quickly covered my mouth.
Boy: "Shh! Keep your voice down."
I glared at him.
Lisa: (Whispering angrily) "Why are you here? How did you find me?"
Before he could answer, we heard the old woman's voice from inside the house.
Old Woman: "Benji? Is everything alright?"
The boy immediately replied.
Benji: "Yes, Grandma. I just heard a noise outside. Everything's fine."
Old Woman: "Alright. Be careful."
Benji: "I will."
We waited until we heard her bedroom door close.
Benji finally let go of me.
Benji: "Thanks for not exposing me. I really didn't want my grandmother to know I was sneaking around."
Lisa: "You're welcome... but I have one question."
Benji: "Go ahead."
Lisa: "Why are you here?"
Benji smiled slightly.
Benji: "I'll explain everything—but not tonight. Go back to bed. We'll talk tomorrow."
With that, he climbed down from the balcony and disappeared into the darkness.
I stood there for a moment, completely confused.
Then I returned to bed.
The next morning, I woke up and got dressed for school.
As I walked downstairs, I found the old woman preparing breakfast.
After thanking her for letting me stay the night, I left for school.
Just as I reached the school gate, someone stepped in front of me, blocking my path.
It was Benji.
Benji: "Well... look who finally showed up."
I sighed.
Lisa: (Feeling embarrassed) "It's you..."
Benji folded his arms.
Benji: "Relax. I'm not here to cause trouble."
He looked at me with a small smile.
Benji: "Let's talk."Benji: "Would you like to join us for breakfast? I can drop you off at school afterward."
Lisa: "Sure. I'd like that."
We had breakfast together. Even though I still felt guilty about lying to Benji regarding my true identity, I tried not to let it show.
After breakfast, Benji led me outside to his motorcycle.
Lisa: "Um... are we really riding that to school?"
Benji smiled.
Benji: "What? Are you scared?"
Lisa: "No. Not at all."
I forced a brave smile as I climbed onto the motorcycle.
A few minutes later, we arrived at school.
As soon as we got there, I quickly got off the bike and hurried to my classroom.
A few hours later...
It was lunchtime, so I headed to the cafeteria to grab something to eat.
I was sitting alone when Chloe walked in with her group of friends.
She spotted me immediately.
Chloe: "Look who's sitting all alone again. The little goblin."
I ignored her and continued eating.
Lisa: "Will you just leave me alone?"
Chloe laughed.
Chloe: "Or what? What are you going to do, little goblin?"
She picked up a bucket of dirty mop water and poured it all over me.
The entire cafeteria fell silent.
Everyone stared.
Chloe smirked proudly.
Chloe: "Who's the goblin now? Next time, know your place."
Slowly, I stood up.
Without saying a word, I walked toward the janitor's closet.
I grabbed a dirty mop and walked back.
Before Chloe realized what was happening, I swung the mop and slapped her across the face with it.
She stumbled backward in shock.
The entire cafeteria gasped.
I looked her straight in the eyes.
Lisa: "If you ever come near me again, I'll make sure you regret it. Stay out of my way."
Without another word, I turned around and walked away, leaving the entire cafeteria speechless.
