Thì Hiện tại (Present Tense)
1. Present Simple (Hiện tại đơn)
Cấu trúc: S + V(s/es)
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: always, usually, often, sometimes, never, every day/week/month/year, on Mondays…
2. Present Continuous (Hiện tại tiếp diễn)
Cấu trúc: S + am/is/are + V-ing
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: now, right now, at the moment, look!, listen!
3. Present Perfect (Hiện tại hoàn thành)
Cấu trúc: S + have/has + V3/ed
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: already, yet, just, never, ever, since, for, recently, so far
4. Present Perfect Continuous (Hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn)
Cấu trúc: S + have/has + been + V-ing
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: for, since, all day, recently, lately, how long
II. Thì Quá khứ (Past Tense)
5. Past Simple (Quá khứ đơn)
Cấu trúc: S + V2/ed
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: yesterday, last week
6. Past Continuous (Quá khứ tiếp diễn)
Cấu trúc: S + was/were + V-ing
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: while, when, at 8 o’clock yesterday, all day yesterday
7. Past Perfect (Quá khứ hoàn thành)
Cấu trúc: S + had + V3/ed
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: before, after, by the time, already, just
8. Past Perfect Continuous (Quá khứ hoàn thành tiếp diễn)
Cấu trúc: S + had + been + V-ing
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: for, since, all day, before, by the time
III. Thì Tương lai (Future Tense)
9. Future Simple (Tương lai đơn)
Cấu trúc: S + will/shall + V
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: tomorrow, next week/month/year, in 2025, soon, later
10. Future Continuous (Tương lai tiếp diễn)
Cấu trúc: S + will + be + V-ing
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: this time tomorrow, at 8 p.m., next Monday, at that time…
11. Future Perfect (Tương lai hoàn thành)
Cấu trúc: S + will + have + V3/ed
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: by tomorrow, by next week, by the time…
12. Future Perfect Continuous (Tương lai hoàn thành tiếp diễn)
Cấu trúc: S + will + have + been + V-ing
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: for, since, by next Monday, by the time…
