I feel like Velan's bouta go on a character arc, where he tries to be 'Useful' by constantly risking his life, until he gets really injured. He wakes up and is like 'I'll fight ém again.' But gets slapped from Anya. "YOU COULD'VE DIED!!!" One conversation later, "If you learn the wrong lesson, you let it burn you twice." And stuff. Low-key, Valli Aamma might be my favourite character. She just gives me "Fragility is a luxury warriors lose" vibes. Love her. And her character is shown perfectly. Only complaint, The garden felt really unnessary. Maybe add a scene of him getting saved by a soul (Besides the space emperor) as build up. Make the garden more satisfying to read Y'know.
